Why not come and play in our our annual one-day F2F congress at the club which this year is being held on Sunday 19 May. 

The congress, which attracts cash prizes and enhanced SBU master points, is open to all.

Congratulations to all those that took part in the annual friendly match between the New Melville and Carlton bridge clubs. It was a comfortable win for the New Melville with a plus score of 6670.

On Tuesday evenings at Pinkhill we hold an Improvers Pairs session at 7.00 pm. These sessions are aimed at people making the transition from student to club player. They will help to build confidence enabling new players to play hands in under 8 minutes - the club standard is a maximum of 7 minutes per board. Help and guidance will be given intermittently on aspects of bidding, play and table organisation. Players with, or without a partner are most welcome.

On Wednesday afternoons at Pinkhill we hold a Novices Pairs session aimed at players who have completed one or more years of lessons. Help with the bidding and play will be provided from an experienced player.

Table money for each of the above sessions is £3 payable by debit or credit card at the bar.

Written commentaries of the hands will also be available to take away after play has finished.
